NEW Series: 3 FUN Ways to Hydrate This Summer

Hey girl! Today, begins a new series on hydration!! 💧 We are in the middle of the summer, and I am excited to share some fun ways and important reasons to focus on hydrating this season… and year around!! A little note on water… Think about how much of our world and the human body are made of water:

  • 71% of the earth's surface is covered in water

  • 55-60% of the human body is made up of water

WOW! Thinking about God's design amazes me and highlights just how important water is for us to be healthy! 🌊 Here are just a few reasons water is so important from the Mayo Clinic:

  • Regulates body temperature

  • Moistens tissues in the eyes, nose and mouth

  • Protects body organs and tissues

  • Carries nutrients and oxygen to cells

  • Lubricates joints

  • Lessens burden on the kidneys and liver by flushing out waste products

  • Dissolves minerals and nutrients to make them accessible to your body

Most people focus on just water when it comes to hydration, but minerals are also super important! When you think about the raw, natural sources of water in nature that God created, many are rich with vital nutrients that our bodies need to thrive. Think about natural spring water and even rain water! 🌧 For the first week in this series, I want to share with you one of my absolute favorite, flavorful ways to hydrate and increase your intake of minerals so you can feel your best! ☀️


 

💧 Tip #1: LMNT Electrolytes ️⚡️ There are a lot of electrolyte brands out there these days! I love that electrolytes seem to be growing in popularity because we truly need the minerals and not just plain water. But, many of the ones you see on the shelf have artificial dyes and flavorings and fillers that aren't the greatest.
